Hi Craig,

I am using Mingle Forum and have had the same issue with indexing.

Following your advice, I added the suggested code, as described. I am using All In One SEO which can be set on a page by page basis and so I have enabled canonical link creation but disabled the plugin on my forum page. Looking at my source code, it seems to have had the desired effect as the link='canonical' appears on all pages barring the forum. I have also added the sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools and it appears to be working as it should. However, forum urls are not yet indexed. Have I made an error, missed something or do I just need to be a little more patient?

I just found that you can get a free version of Acronis 2009 Home from Western Digital. It is an older version (the latest is 2012) but I use 2009 and like it. The only caveat it that you must have at least one Western Digital drive in your computer for the software to work.

Download Acronis 2009 Home free here: <a href="http://support.wdc.com/product/downloaddetail.asp?swid=119" rel="nofollow">http://support.wdc.com/product/downloaddetail.asp?swid=119</a>

My name is JD. Your article about Dell Laptop deals is very nice and informative. Being part of dell, I think Dell website is the nice online place to buy dell laptops as they have good deals out there. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with you Jason, I was using this program for 3 years and I stopped 6 months ago. I haven't noticed anything to get worse with my site. In fact I have better rankings now.

First of all, thanks Craig, for posting the picture of the adapter. I did not find that information on the Voipo site also. That did clarify that it was a separate router based service rather than something like MJ.
===============================
I wanted to use my current phone receptacles too initially but now a days you have phones that need connection only to one base unit and other 'slave' phones just need an electric outlet, and that too for charging only.

I got a good phone set with 4 phones last Black Friday and now am wire-free. :-)

Thanks for the info! I'm looking for a super simple to install and maintain forum for Wordpress... I'm toying with a new install. I've used Simple Press and it's okay but I wish it would automatically update. I'll look more into Mingle.

I'm tired of taking tons of time to install plugins and sites and such, that's why I LOVE Wordpress to much. It's so easy to install and update, I want a Forum that is easy to install and update too!

Nicely done. I was having trouble with guessing what the UIE was, but I think you got it. I also thought UI was STUPID right away, but the F bomb does fit.

@Ken: If you want to build a site around a forum or have thousands of users go for vbulletin. It does just about everything and has just about every feature but also has a steep learning curve. If you want to include a simple forum as part of a Wordpress site then Mingle gets the job done. Mingle installs with the ease of adding a plugin.

Hey Craig,

thanks for this. I will look into it. I will still considering vbulletin as my first choice. I will install and try it out.
