Would you rec. an Un-Cape?

Hello. I'm in the process of trying tt find a fid for my family. I have 2 boys, ages 7 and 10 and my house gets a bit busy at times. I'd like a bird with some of the following traits: good w/ kids, very socialable and not a one person bird, likes to be cuddled but not a velcro bird, quiet compared to a screaming Goffins, can handle trips to the elementary schools, etc. The birds I am considering are Timnehs, Senegals, Caiques, Derbyans, and the Un-Capes. I've read conflicting things about the Un-capes...one said that they have big beaks but rarely use them to bite, the other was posted on this site about biting and aggression. Is this species typically docile or do they all go thru a nippy hormonal phase like the senegals? Any advise on any of these birds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
