Hi Brandie!
I am going through about the same thing with my Cape, Frank. Don't feel like it's your fault, you just happened to have gotten him at the moment he became sexually mature...Frank is 3 and he is doing the lurching and hollering plea and quivering, and wants to get at my little male Pionus...Frank is obsessed with the other two birds, mostly the male. He has stopped playing with toys and does nothing but obsess over the other birds. I actually had to board him for a week to regain my sanity. I'm starting to think my dream bird has morphed into a real monster. He still loves me and loves affection, but as soon as I put him down, he's right back at it again. If you find any relief, please let me know. I think Capes are "One Bird" birds...
