Grandma Loves Thor

Thor just got back from being baby sat by my mother. He really loves his grandma.

Yummy Yummy

This clip shows Thor's understanding of English. I wanted to film Thor asking for "Yummy yummy," his word for good food. I approached him with the camera in front of me and a glass of apple juice hidden behind my back. Wondering what's up, Thor asks, "What are you doing?" When I show him the apple juice he asks for it by saying "Yummy yummy."

Thor Flies

Here is a video of Thor flying to me. I've been working on training Thor to come when he is called. So far it only works when he is in the mood.

Thor's Box

In the wild Cape Parrots are cavity dwellers so I made Thor a box he could dig out. I made a Cape sized hole in one end and filled it with crumpled newspapers. Thor delights in digging out his nest. In this video Thor comes out to defend his box, then he asks what I am up to and when I don't answer he heads back to work.

Bad Bird

Another Thor talking video. In this one Thor gives himself a scolding.

Bye Bye

When I am getting ready to leave the house Thor always says "Bye bye" to me. If he is in a good mood he will get in his cage for me, but if he doesn't want me to leave he will give me a nip on my hand to let me know his disapproval.
